Lindsay Lohan's mom, Dina Lohan, claims she will not have Lindsay on her upcoming reality show.“I told Lindsay I don’t want her on the show right now,” Lohan tells TV Guide. “Doing reality TV would almost be taking a step backward as far as her career.”
But for Lindsay’s 14-year-old sister, Ali, the show’s a step up from relative obscurity (à la MTV’s The Ashlee Simpson Show, which plucked another then-unknown sibling out of the shadow of her famous sister).
Like, thanks... mom? What the hell is Dina talking about? Sounds like Dina Lohan's got "Stage-mom-itis" and she's gotta bring in the other kids to pay their dues to Hollywood...so they can become famous, too.
The eight-episode series, which premieres on Memorial Day, will document Dina and Ali’s temporary move from the family’s home in Merrick, New York, to Las Vegas, where little sis will record her new album.
“I just want to get the message across that we are a normal family,” says Dina, who insists she’s not a “crazy party mom” and she’s “never partied with Lindsay.”
This show is leaving a sour taste in my mouth already. Why is Dina trying so hard to prove that the Lohan's are just an everyday, ordinary family... that just happens to do a reality show...just like everybody else...! [LOL]
